Local Agency Participants

In 1981, the SCRTPA, the cities of Anderson, Redding, and Shasta Lake, the County of Shasta, the Redding Area Bus Authority, and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) approved a Memorandum of Understanding outlining the legal foundations of the MPO's planning process, obligations, responsibilities, organizational structure, and the funding process. Shasta Senior Nutrition Programs represent the needs of the senior population in the planning process. These jurisdictions work together to resolve the regions transportation needs:
